A lymphatic drainage massage is a very gentle massage technique designed to encourage lymph to move through the body’s lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is part of your immune system and helps remove waste, excess fluid, and other substances from your tissues.

Unlike a deep tissue massage, my lymphatic drainage treatment is a light pressure because the lymph vessels lie just beneath the skin.

It may help reduce swelling after surgery, after injuries or operations and may relieve feelings of tightness and heaviness. It can also make you feel more comfortable.

Please note that for general wellness, detoxification, or weight loss, there is little strong scientific evidence that lymphatic drainage massage provides the dramatic benefits sometimes claimed.
